Maintenance record and photos
A record helps distinguish recurring dust, drainage, ignition and airflow complaints from one-off observations.
What to observe
Keep dated photos, invoice line items, technician credentials, filter type and measured findings when supplied.
A field example
Compare the same blower wheel image from one year to the next. If deposits return quickly, investigate filter bypass or a return leak instead of repeating the same cleanup indefinitely.
What the written work should say
The next technician can compare the same component and see what was actually done.
Where this task stops
A generic sticker marked 'cleaned' is weak evidence of scope.
