Townhouse mechanical closet
Compact closets can make filter access, combustion air and service clearances different from a detached-house basement.
What to observe
Share photos of the actual closet, model labels and entrance dimensions when requesting a quote.
A field example
A compact closet may prevent a blower from being withdrawn without clearing adjacent space. Send a photo of the open access door and equipment label so a quote accounts for real access.
What the written work should say
The technician should describe access constraints and whether adjacent property or common elements are involved.
Where this task stops
Do not assume a flat advertised price covers concealed or inaccessible components.
